Um Ok? Magazine is an arts & culture magazine based in Charlotte, NC & is the brain-child of Grayson Fullwood. The magazine is centered around creating while surround by speculation and people who don't understand. We want to create a platform where those types of creators thrive. The one's who, whenever they express an idea, have people question whether it's good. You are the only person who can bring your idea to it's fullest potential, so we hope to inspire people to go do it.

I began as a contributer on the second issue of Um Ok? Magazine: Lost. Me and Grayson continued to work together creatively on the magazine together, and it’s now grown into a local media empire that we are constantly trying to push past it’s own limits. Whether that’s directing music videos, curating a mixtape of local artists, or interviewing local DJs, we continue to surprise ourselves with what we can do with the power of print media.

We’re currently getting started with Volume 2, which is set to launch in February 2026, and its gonna be bigger and better than ever, and will be the first time I assist with building out the magazine from ground up.

Um Ok? Vol 1
& Launch Party
A compliation of the first 3 issues of Um Ok? Magazine, Volume 1 was a celebration and reintroduction to the world of Um Ok? We launched the volume alongside a mixtape and party, which combined our marketing and event planning events to bring as much attention to the magazine and bring it to as many brick and mortar stores in Charlotte, NC.

I assisted in the organization and launch of the both the magazine & mixtape, which included creative direction, coordinating with venues, & even conducting and designing an exclusive interview with Scene Chaolan, a dope DJ from Charlotte.



Um Ok? 
Mixtape Vol. 1
This Um Ok? Vol 1 was a collection of music of local artists. Helped assist in launch marketing, which included throwing a listening party, designing marketing materials, & shooting the album art photography.





whylin aht 
Music Video
Helped direct & storyboard the music video for the lead single of the mixtape, “whyin aht”, by Deuce & Unknown. This included moodboarding, directing artists on set, helping set up shots & lighting, as well as assisted in the editing of the final video.
